Tickets are $30 and include the price of admission, light hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and of course the opportunity to meet and talk with the Laid Back History crew. All proceeds benefit the Washington County Historical Society!

On May 17th at 7:00 pm, in Madeleine’s Garden at the LeMoyne House, the cast and crew of Laid Back History will gather for a special live event. This live event will be a wonderful opportunity to interact with Clay, Bryan, Rich, Carl, and others who’ve brought you the acclaimed Laid Back History virtual series over the last two years.

The theme of the event will be Laid Back History’s archaeological excavations at the John J. LeMoyne House conducted last fall and winter. Hoping to find objects that would tell the story of that home and property, the crew instead turned up mysteries that may raise even more questions than before.

At Laid Back History LIVE, Clay and the LBH crew will describe the objects they excavated, explain the mysteries that unfolded, and will display these artifacts to the public for the VERY FIRST TIME!

Every Other Tuesday

We are excited to announce a new online series—Laid Back History.  Every Tuesday at 7:00pm, our executive director, Clay Kilgore, will be live on the Historical Society’s Facebook page telling a story from this region's past.

Why “Laid Back History?”  Well, mainly because he’ll be coming to you live from his home recliner and nobody’s going to care how you’ll look in yours.

So, if you want to enjoy stories of Southwestern Pennslvania's past, join Clay every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00pm as he shares the history and heritage of this region, one short story at time.
